This premier showcase in the heart of San Francisco will be the flagship for the Bacca Da Silva brand, serving both upscale retail customers and the trade in a setting reflective of Bacca Da Silva
San Francisco, CA – (May 12, 2008) – Bacca Da Silva, Inc. has reached an agreement to assume the retail space at 590 Sutter Street in San Francisco for its retail flagship, design studio and showroom. At over 3,000 square feet, this corner location, two blocks off the world-famous Union Square, is an ideal space for showcasing the stunning products of Bacca Da Silva www.baccadasilva.com
Highlights of the space include a natural light flooded corner location at Sutter and Mason streets, a 1,500 sq ft first floor retail store and an upper level 1,200 sq ft design studio and show room showcase. Included in the plan is an area catering to made to measure couture pieces for the discerning customer looking for unique designer pieces along with custom fitting rooms. A lower level inventory storage space rounds out the floor plan.
The concept for the space is being formulated by Bacca himself along with the professional design studio of Fiorella Design of California www.fiorelladesign.com. Construction is scheduled to begin immediately with a grand opening scheduled for late summer 2008.

At over 3,000 square feet, this corner location, two blocks off the world-famous Union Square, includes a stunning retail showroom, a design studio and a dedicated space for custom made-to-measure products.
This Union Square project takes advantage of the natural light flooded corner location at Sutter and Mason streets and was designed to capture the attention of discerning Bay Area residents and the well-traveled domestic and international visitors to San Francisco. The concept for the space was formulated by Bacca himself along with the professional design studio of Fiorella Design of California, and was executed by the San Franciscan architecture firm VITAE, Urban Construction and several other local companies.

An invitation only event, this gala will showcase Bacca Da Silva’s brand new flagship location which includes a stunning retail showroom, a design studio and a dedicated space for custom made-to-measure products. Opening in early November and located on a light flooded premier corner in San Francisco’s world famous Union Square, this space will provide a dramatic setting for the stunning collections of Bacca Da Silva.
The event organized by Dana Castro (ex- Genart San Francisco Fashion Director) will feature a playful viewing of selected products from Bacca’s latest collection, the music of the Tiffany Joy Band, followed by a Fall 2008 fashion show preview. Attendees are invited to explore the space and the pieces on display from Bacca Da Silva as well as meet with the designer himself and other leading members of the trade. The preview features the talents of stylist Owen Buenaventura, models from Passport Models Management, make up from Emily Sims and Hair Stylist Nekisa, recently featured on Bravo TV’s Shear Genius. This celebration caps a journey which had its public beginning at GenArt’s Fresh Faces in Fashion San Francisco event in 2004 and has led to this local designer’s emergence on the main stage of the San Francisco fashion scene.
